Craft in America

I am sure that you are like me and always on the lookout for new resources to engage and nourish your own creative spirit. So it was with great surprise that I recently found a series that had flown under my radar on PBS entitled "Craft in America". In two seasons there are five episodes (Origins, Memory, Community, Process and Landscape). There are short segments about a variety of fine craftsmen...glass blowers, potters, jewelry makers, etc. Each one describes a portion of their creative process as well as showing you their workspace and the final product. The videography is stunning and the story remarkably well told. The third season is currently in production, and their is a companion book, as well. Check it out...you'll be glad you did!
