Tin Type

So, if you just happen to be in the neighborhood of Calgary, Alberta, Canada...I am going to tell you what you just have to see!  I know, I know, Banff National Park is what you are thinking...but the real answer is Heritage Park Historic Village.  It is a real throwback...midway games, great food, folks in every building in period costume.  A car museum up front for those folks who are really into that thing...and I love their slogan...'how the west was once'!

Reminds me of Greenfield Village / Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, which is one of my favorite places on EARTH!  Only, Heritage Park may be even better!  It is an immersive experience, and one which will do your heart good.  Spend the time to listen to the interpreters...they are very knowledgable and worth the investment...
